Abstract:
 Qiantang River, as the source of potable water of Hangzhou, is always affected by salt tide and organic pollution, and then the safety of potable water receives serious threat.In this paper, the raw water from Qiantang River was detected from 2009 to 2011,the result showed that content of organic pollutant in the Qiantang River was higher than that of Chinese standard value, and could more increase because of tide. Traditional process of tap water couldn’t remove these organics very well. So, a nanofiltration process was developed, and the average removal rates of TOC, UV254 and CODMn were 62.71%, 77.83% and 67.81% respectively.
