Abstract:
 The pore performance parameter is an important technical index of the separation membrane product,which determines the permeability such as flux and retention of the separation membrane.The gas permeating method(gas-liquid displacing method)is the main method for measuring the pore performance parameters of organic microporous membranes.The PVDF flat membranes and PVDF hollow fiber membranes with different pore sizes were selected to study the effects of pretreatment processes such as module type,operation mode,cleaning process and infiltrating time on the pore size testing results.The results show that The component type has little effect on the pore size testing results of hollow fiber membrane.Inner pressure membrane and external pressure membrane should be measured by different operation modes.Wet membrane and contaminated dry membrane need to be cleaned before testing.Membrane samples must be fully infiltrated to achieve the desired test results.
