Abstract:
This paper describes the preparation of polyimide (pyromellitic dianhydride-4,4'-oxydianiline) solvent resistance nanofiltration membrane by two-step method. In this research the thermal imidization procedure were studied.  The SRNF membranes with better performance were prepared at the following procedures: 200oC for 2.5h, 250oC for 2h, and 300oC for 2h in vacuum environment. The membrane was stable in most of the solvents tested. The fluxes of some common solvents keep a relatively high level while the rejection of Crystal violet and Eriochrome blue black R were up to 99.8% and 97.9% respectively.
