Abstract:
The ingredients of blending waste liquid of ethylene glycol/water were analyzed, which came from ethylene glycol commercial manufactory company. The main reason had been identified which cause heavy smell, dark color and high conductivity for. Under 1.5MPa pressure, concentrate glycol liquids were filtrated by polyamide nanofiltration membrane in velocity of 45L/m2.h to be bleached. Volatile small organic molecules were deodorized by active carbon filled column under 0.5L/m2.h. Organic electrolytes dissolving in glycol-water mixtures were removed by reverse osmosis for low viscosity liquid with the speed of 35L/m2.h under 1.8MPa and ion exchange resin columns for high viscosity liquid. The process conditions and factors of each unit were also investigated and discuss, and the operation route was designed for whole purification process according to the actual situation of the nature of products and factory integration technology.
