THE RESEARCH ON THE TREATMENT OF FRACTURING WASTEWATER BY ELECTRO-FENTON COUPLING ULTRAFILTRATION METHOD

Abstract:
 Owing to the high values of viscosity, turbidity, organic pollutants (chemical oxygen demand, COD), suspended solids and bacteria content, the fracturing wastewater was difficult to treat efficiently. In the current study, “Electro-fenton coupling Ultrafiltration method” was put forward. The influences of each operation factor on the treatment efficiency were studied systematically in order to optimize the best treating conditions. After treatment, the contents of COD, oil, suspended solids, sulphate-reducing bacteria and saprophytes were reduced to 41.0 mg/L, 0.35 mg/L, 0.30 mg/L, N×101 ind/mL, N×101 ind/mL respectively, the average corrosion rate was reduced to 0.013 mm?a-1, which were all meeting the national standards. The Electro-fenton coupling Ultrafiltration method possesses an effective and rapid process, endowing a competitive prospect of industrialization.
