Abstract:
 Series ofcross-linked poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)membranes have been prepared byphotopolymerization of prepolymer solutions containingpoly (ethylene glycol) methyl etheracrylate(PEGMEA) used as monomeranddipentaerythritolhexaacrylate (DPHA) used as crosslinker. Effects of the composition of prepolymer solutions on the polymer density, glass transition temperature, inter-segment distance and gas permeation property wereinvestigated. Results indicated the composition of prepolymer solutionshadfew effects on the polymer density;with the increase of crosslinker DPHA content, the glass transition temperature and inter-segment distanceincreased, while the diffusion coefficient decreased, the solubility coefficient decreased and then increased, the gas permeation property decreased. Membrane materials had higher permeability for CO2, and possessedexcellent CO2 permeability coefficient of 1110.89 Barrer with CO2/N2 selectivity of 42.84 and CO2/CH4 selectivity of 13.30 at 0.2 MPa and 35℃.
