Abstract:
 The development of waste oil treatment using membrane separation technology was researched from the perspective of patent. The patents were system analyzed from the aspects of application trend, technology source country, patentee, technology branches and etc. The important information such as technology development thread, patent portfolio of key patentees, research hotspots and so on are revealed. And the core patents of three important technology branches that is organic membrane waste oil treatment technology, ceramic membrane waste oil treatment technology and strengthening or integration of membrane separation process are mined and interpreted. Based on the results of patent analysis, it is suggested to increase the application of overseas patent, pay more attention to the application of membrane separation technology in crude oil desalination and dehydration, base oil dewaxing and other fields, strengthen the research of integrated process of membrane separation with waste oil refining technologies, such as distillation, hydrogenation catalysis and etc.
